Having a bond with your team members is one of the key factors that might make them look forward to their work every single day.

Compensation is very important. However, if you do not pay your workers for their efforts and contribution to your company, their job enthusiasm will dramatically decrease. It can be a de-motivator if your employees feel that they are underpaid. As the leader of the pack, you have the influence and power to fight for their well-deserved increases, promotions and even bonuses.
